Cricket NSW Academy in town

On Saturday the Cricket NSW youth academy squad played at Bradman Oval.

On Saturday the Cricket NSW youth academy squad played at Bradman Oval.

Under the watchful eye of head coach Damon Smith, the players simulated match conditions in a 50 over per side trial.

The Cricket NSW academy boys have enjoyed an intensive high performance program throughout winter. The players continued their work on Sunday at Bradman Oval. The final session will be at Cricket NSW’s purpose-built Cricket Central on October 5.

The academy readies players for higher honours within the Cricket NSW pathway.

Under 19’s head to the Central Coast on Monday for the McDonalds Country Colts.

The Under 16 players are preparing for the Bradman Cup held later this year. The Under 16 players have trial games against Sydney Green Shield Premier cricket clubs over the next 3 days. Green Shield is known as the best under 16 competition in the world.
