Charges laid over large quantity of drugs
Two people have been charged after police seized a commercial quantity of the prohibited drug GBH during a road stop near Yass.

Two people have been charged after police seized a commercial quantity of the prohibited drug GBH during a road stop near Yass.
Police stopped a vehicle on the Hume Highway near Berremangra at about 5.45pm on Monday (October 13).
A search of the vehicle uncovered two 500ml bottles of GBH with an estimated potential street value of $5000.
The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and taken to Yass Police Station.
A 35-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug (greater than or equal to commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, and drive or ride state false name or home address.
A 29-year-old woman was charged with supply prohibited drug (greater than or equal to commercial quantity) and possess prohibited drug.
They were both refused bail with a further bail application pending.
