Night works are set to begin on Finlay Road in Goulburn as part of a road upgrade project targeting sections impacted by heavy traffic use.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council says the works will take place between the Lockyer Street intersection and Alice Road and are aimed at improving the condition of the road pavement.
The upgrades were identified during Council’s Road Condition Assessment completed earlier this year.
Work is scheduled for Friday 29 May, Monday 1 June and Tuesday 2 June, weather permitting, with crews operating between 7pm and 5am.
Council said residents and businesses in the area may experience temporary disruptions during the construction period, including increased construction vehicle movements, noise from civil works, reduced speed limits, intermittent lane closures and detours.
Council said the night works are designed to minimise impacts on daytime traffic along the busy route.
The council has thanked the community for its patience during the upgrade works.
